Bean intruders

In my previous plant environment this is what one of the dicot stems in the bean environment grew to be. In the top left of the picture is a timeline showing how bean growth is supposed to look. In the time lapse picture, the bean doesn't flower until it has a substantial stem and when it does it is two leaved. The main plant here in the picture has no stem and many leaves rather than two leaves.

Corn germination. The other two stems are intruders and are most likely grass stems. You can see the distinct difference in the two grass blades and the corn stalk. The corn stalk is much more firm and sturdy compared to the two other stems showing the ability to produce vegetation.

Bean intruders. They are dicot stems but there a many identical stems and they appeared in the previous failed plant environments therefore none of these are the bean's stem.

So my children actually never grew I was neglectful and over watered them. Intruders in the soil were what were actually growing.

Here is the corn seed. (monocot)

Here is the been seed. (dicot) It began to take root but the roots ceased as it was over watered.

Mono (corn) one week after germination. Growing slowly but surely!

I'm so proud of Dicot! Growing like a champ!

Monocot (corn) germination after about two weeks. How exciting!

Dicot (bean) germination. I am so proud of my two babies!
